A Panorama by Moritz Schmid
As part of the 2016 edition of Designers' Saturday, Moritz Schmid conceived the poetic acoustic installation A Panorama for Kvadrat to celebrate colour and the beauty of wool in the raw industrial surroundings of the Girsberger production facility will form the scenic architectural backdrop for Moritz’ installation which is a visual as much as an acoustic experience.
Florian Hecker at MMK, Frankfurt
Florian Hecker has included Kvadrat Soft Cells in his work Formulation, where he dramatizes space with sound pieces. The acoustic panels allow a play on sound but also complement the visually very minimal and in architectural terms extremely precise composition.

Tarek Atoui - Infinite Ear/WITHIN
This September, Tarek Atoui continues this exploration into hearing diversities and how deafness can influence and expand the way we understand sound performance, its space and instrumentation. The works presented at Bergen Assembly in collaboration with Council are an exhibition entitled Infinite Ear by Council and a new chapter of WITHIN by Tarek Atoui.
For her first solo and institutional presentation in the United States, Cally Spooner (b. 1983, Ascot, UK) produces a new installation for the New Museum’s Lobby Gallery, in which Soft Cells acoustic panels are used.
'Playback Room' A space for studio music based on an idea by and in collaboration with Wolfgang Tillmans
The Lenbachhaus’s Georg Knorr Auditorium in Munich is temporarily converted into a music playback room and equipped with a high-end hi-fi sound system that allows visitors to listen to music in the original recording quality. Two playlists supplied by Wolfgang Tillmans will be heard in the room. To ensure the best listening experience for the visitors, Kvadrat Soft Cells has sponsored Soft Cells acoustic panels, which Tillmans has incorporated into the exhibition space.
