Mellett Architects have chosen Soft Cells for the new Hearing Centre at the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Paris.
Decorated so as to be sophisticated yet restrained, the Hearing Centre is used for institutional or ad hoc international arbitration hearings, as well as meetings and conferences. Packed with state-of-the-art communications equipment, it comprises larger hearing rooms and smaller breakout meeting rooms.
Eight post-fitted Soft Cells, upholstered in dark grey Zeze, are used in a white marble reception zone. Six of the panels feature openings for large TV screens. The architects chose Soft Cells for their acoustic and aesthetic properties.
